Todd Hoagey continually battled the busyness of life, caused by a relentless entrepreneurial spirit, extensive travel, family and children, until an unimaginable life event brought him close to the God he resisted, and launched him into the next chapter of his life, fulfilling God’s purpose
Todd is not a pastor, he is not a bible scholar and he never intended to be an author.
He is a businessman, CPA by trade who worked in the automobile industry for over thirty years. None of his skills, education, or past behavior qualified him to write a book on practical, spiritual Christianity in today’s world, which is exactly why God chose him to do so.
Todd believes his purpose in life is to share his learnings through Worthy and Wanted, speaking engagements and social media. He is inspired by God every day to communicate a message of hope, and the opportunity for a personal relationship with the God of the universe.
I was a career car guy, born and raised.
People say the car business gets in your blood, “Once a car guy always a car guy!” As it turns out, God had different plans for me…after I asked.
I knew very early I wanted to be a car dealer.
I bought my first car at age three when Dad raised my baby hand at the auto auction. I spent much of my childhood shadowing Dad at car auctions, junk yards and body shops. But when it was time to make a career decision, Dad encouraged me to pursue a trade that was “reputable”.
I did both.
My accounting degree from Penn State University quickly led to my entry into the car business as chief financial officer of a new car dealer group and I’ve been in the car business ever since.
